Denise Juneau Outlines Household Economic Priorities

Democratic Congressional candidate Denise Juneau outlined part of her economic agenda to put Montana families first.

Juneau held a roundtable discussion in Billings to hear individual stories of economic hardship and to propose solutions to help more Montana families make ends meet and succeed and today's economy.

"Traveling across the state, I hear regularly from Montana workers and small business owners who say that Congress hasn't kept up with our changing economy," Juneau said. "My household economic priorities will help more families succeed and ensure that we have the workforce and business climate we need to compete in 2016 and beyond."

Juneau's priorities include:

Providing more affordable child care
Helping workers afford to care for sick loved ones
Raising the minimum wage
Guaranteeing equal pay for equal work
Strengthening the earned income tax credit
Tackling student loan debt
